In this lecture Michael Vamstadt will share the current status of Joshua Tree National Park’s mammal population in comparison to the 1930s to 50s Grinnell inventory study on JTNP fauna. Have climate change and/or tourism shown any effects on mammal populations? Michael will share some of his research and explain how management can help animals in a busy National Park.
