This summer, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum will be offering two summer discovery kits for children ages 5-12.
Discovery Kit 1- Botany/Wildflowers: Have some fun with wildflowers! Children will learn about growing and identifying wildflowers, their importance to the ecosystem, how to preserve them, and so much more! This kit will be available for pick up beginning on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
Discovery Kit 2- Geology: It’s time to dig into geology! Children will identify and recreate the layers of the Earth, simulate the rock cycle, explore the effects of weathering, and more! They are sure to have a “smashing” time! Discovery Kit 2 will be available for pick up beginning Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
