Step back in time and enjoy a day of Renaissance-inspired fun! Head over to the Hi-Desert Nature Museum to check out their summer exhibit, “Leonardo’s Lab.” Explore the inventions, art, and ideas of the original Renaissance man as you engage in a dozen hands-on activities.
Merriment can also be found throughout the Yucca Valley Community Center, including Gopi Henna applying gorgeous henna designs and Mr. Twister designing balloon creations. Abbit the Average, a Mobile Mirth & Mischief Maker, will present two stage performances and strolling entertainment combining hilarious physical and prop comedy with magic, juggling and non-stop shenanigans. Visitors of all ages will enjoy creating Leonardo da Vinci inspired self-portraits and modeling clay sculptures. Brave knights can challenge their friends to a jousting competition or conquering Jacob’s Ladder. Food vendors will also be on hand with a variety of tasty treats, and z107.7 will provide musical entertainment.
