This exhibition features the collection of Mr. Lee Silliman and includes early visual imagery published in government reports, travel books, souvenir albums, illustrated newspapers and magazines, art prints, and photography.
These images capture the early allure of the American West and National Parks as advertised by the government as well as tourism and railroad industries. Many images were part of the “See America First” campaign, encouraging Americans to travel west.
