Family Fun Days
Visiting events with the children is a great way
to make memories as a family!
Every summer the Hi-Desert Nature Museum and the Recreation Department offer a large Family Fun Day in co-ordination with the museum’s interactive summer exhibit. The museum and Community Center were transformed into a dinosaur wonderland, artistic Paris, a farm, a huge toy land and much more. We hope to see you for the next big adventure!

Halloween Spooktacular
“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.”
The Saturday before Halloween the Community Center and the Hi-Desert Nature Museum undergo a mystical transformation…. Ghosts, ghouls, witches, monsters, and other weird and bizarre creatures are ready to give you a bit of a fright in the HAUNTED HOUSE. Grab your bag for some TRICK or TREAT, change your persona and show off at the COSTUME CONTEST, or get spookily artistic doing some CRAFTS. We are always very much looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible for some scary fun!
